I challenged an AI to rebuild my own model. It found the mistake in mine.
I set out to beat the machine at the one thing that's kept health economists employed since NICE opened its doors. The ICER landed within 4% of my hand-built Excel model, and the gap turned out to be my modelling choice, not the AI's error.
